Car Rental Savings

Virtually all major car rental agencies offer some form of senior discount. Discounts can range anywhere from 5% to 20% off the rental companies standard rates and most of the discounts offered are good for those 50 years of age and older.

While some rental agencies may require membership in a senior association, most will typically extend the same discount to non-members; you just have to ask for it.

Car rental agencies are continually offering special offers and promotions, and although most guarantee they will provide you with the best deal available, it is always smart to compare the rates of the current special with those of the senior discount.

You should also compare rates among two or three different car rental agencies. Although many car rental agencies are now owned by the same parent companies, the prices can vary by as much as 20%. Comparing prices has become much easier with their online reservation systems, as many car rental web sites will provide the final rental price with any associated discounts already applied.

If you can not locate their senior rates or senior discount information on their web sites, you may have to have a promotional/coupon code to receive the discount. We have many of these codes listed in the search area on the SeniorDiscounts.com's web site.
